The fanjo phenomenon

The original fanjo card

It all began when a friend was invited to a “blessingway” which is a kind of hippy version of the more commercial “baby shower.” I offered to make her a card.

I posted it on my facebook page and within a few hours over 700 people had seen my picture; my most popular post ever!

People wanted more, so I obliged…

More fanjo cards…

Everyone is different, I like that. Just like fanjos.

I also made a past tense version, in case you are fed up of cutesy baby cards.

Hello new baby!

And it doesn’t end there, later I will be making a specially commissioned twin version – “Hooray Two whole people came out of your fanjo.”

I have never stamped the word “fanjo” so many times in one day!

Every woman should have a piranha pinny.

This is a pinny. With piranhas. What more do you need to know?

I made it last night. It ties at the back and the front is 2 great big pockets for carrying around stuff.

I was going to put it in my shop… but I don’t know if I can part with it!

Something to keep the kids busy :)

I’ve just added these to my Folksy shop; packs of blank cards, papers and shapes for children to make their very own cards.
Find them here http://folksy.com/shops/shazronnie 🙂
